With recipes included, Martha paints a picture of her life in the 1920s and 1930s on a Nebraska farm. Her self-portrait in words gives others a glimpse of herself as a child, mother, friend, and wife. The title of her book is "Martha - A Country Girl."  Martha passed away in 2006.
